Mark Stevens

Mark Stevens was appointed by Chancellor Dan Klaich to serve as interim vice chancellor of finance effective April 1, 2010 and was named vice chancellor in December 2010. Previously, he served as associate vice chancellor for finance and budget.
Prior to joining the NSHE in 2009, Stevens worked for the State of Nevada for 36 years. The majority of his service in state government was with the Legislative Counsel Bureau, where he held the position of Assembly fiscal analyst, serving as staff to the Assembly Committee of Ways and Means from 1983 until 2009.
Stevens earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1974. He and his wife Lori have two daughters.
