The regular meeting of the Board of Regents was called to order

by the Chairman, Governor C. C. Stevenson.  Present:  Regents

Stevenson, Dovey and Dormer.  Also in attendance, President

Brown.



The establishment of an Agricultural Experiment Station was

discussed and the following action taken.



Regent Dovey submitted the following resolutions, which were

adopted:



     RESOLVED that the Board of Regents establish an Agricultural

     Experiment Station as one of the Departments of the State

     University.



     RESOLVED that President L. D. Brown be appointed Director

     of said Station, and that Professor Miller be appointed

     Botanist and Chemist.



     RESOLVED that ten (10) acres of University land be set aside

     for the use and benefit of said Agricultural Station.
