The Board of Regents met at 10 o'clock A.M., Saturday, December
6, 1902. Present W. E. F. Deal, J. N. Evans and W. W. Booher.
Minutes of October 4, 1902 were read and approved.
President Stubbs presented and read his report for 1901-02, which
was adopted, and Regent Deal was requested to prepare the report
for the Board of Regents to the Governor.
Professor Thurtell submitted a statement and a letter from
Professor Henry R. Evans, relating to his resignation as Profes-
sor of Extension Work at Virginia City, which was ordered placed
on file.
On motion of Regent Deal, seconded by Regent Booher, the Presi-
dent of the University was authorized to expend the amount One
Hundred dollars bequeathed by the late H. P. Krause for the
University Library.
On motion of Regent Booher, seconded by Regent Deal, the recom-
mendation of President Stubbs that Mr. Alexander Wise be appoint-
ed as Instructor in University Extension Work at Virginia City
at Seventy-Five dollars per month was approved.
