The Regents met in the Office of the President of the University
in the morning, December 3, at 10 o'clock. Regents Pratt, Mrs.
Williams and Judge Talbot were present. Absent: Regents Mrs.
Hood and Mr. Williams.
The minutes of the meeting of October 31, 1923 were, on motion
of Regent Pratt, approved the the following vote:
Judge Talbot Aye
Mrs. Williams Aye
Mr. Pratt Aye
List No. 11, Regents Checks Nos. 3089 to 3100 inclusive, for
the net sum of $40,438.10, and List No. 11, State Claims Nos.
115 to 126 inclusive, were approved by the following vote:
Judge Talbot Aye
Mrs. Williams Aye
Mr. Pratt Aye
The improvement of the Campus south of Lincoln Hall and west of
the Education building was discussed at length, especially with
reference to installation of a proper irrigation system and the
securing of surface soil for this tract. On motion of Judge
Talbot, President Clark and Mr. Gorman were authorized to handle
the matter right away in order to secure surface soil at a very
low figure and they are to look into the matter of installing a
sprinkler system on some portion of the Campus for experimental
purposes during the Summer. Vote:

Mr. Pratt Aye
Chairman Pratt gave a brief report of his eastern trip and will
have the complete written report in the hands of the Regents for
the meeting at the end of December.
The next meeting of the Regents is called for December 22nd at
10 o'clock to pass on the regular payroll.
No further business appearing, the Board adjourned.
