At a regular meeting of the Board of Regents held at 1:30 P.M
this day the following members were present: Governor Colcord,
J. D. Torreyson and H. L. Fish. Absent: C. E. Mack and J. W.
Haines.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
On motion, it was ordered that the action of the Board relative
to changing the time of closing and opening for the Winter term
be rescinded.
Professor R. D. Jackson presented this Mining Laboratory report
for the month of November as follows:

Worked in Nov. 17
On hand Dec. 1 not worked 10
Claims were allowed from the several funds as follows:
Contingent University Fund 1,487.76
Mining Laboratory Fund 255.00
Ag & Mech College Fund 1,608.94
Ag & Mech College Fund 90.00
Total $3,441.70
On motion, it was ordered that the files of the Territorial
Enterprise presented to the University by H. M. Yerington and
D. O. Mills be gratefully accepted and a communication of thanks
be returned signed by the President of the University and
President of the Board of Regents.
Professor Hillman submitted a plan to have the University work
written up with wood cuts or photographs to be published free of
expense ($25.00) appropriated for photos or wood cuts.
On motion, the President was instructed to approve a requisition
for Professor Lewers for telegraphic supplies.
On motion, it was ordered that the President have an advertise-
ment of the University published in the Student Record.
The Board then visited and examined the Experiment Station and
University buildings.
No further business appearing, the Board adjourned.
