The Board of Regents met at 9:30 o'clock A.M. in their Office,
Saturday, November 7, 1903, a full Board being present.
The minutes of July 31 and October 12 read and approved. The
Secretary read the balance sheets showing the conditions of the
several funds at the end of September.
President Stubbs read his report.
Professor Blessing appeared before the Board and explained his
views in detail relating to his Department.
The following Committee of the Faculty consisting of Dr. J. E.
Church and Professor Adams appeared before the Board and sub-
mitted the following plan:
WHEREAS, the Board of Regents have listened to the plans of
the faculty by a Committee relating to the celebration of
the 30th anniversary of the founding of the University to
be held at the University during the Commencement Season of
1904;
RESOLVED, that the Board concurs in the plans of the faculty
as submitted and appoints to represent the Board also the
Committee of the Faculty consisting of Dr. J. E. Church,
Dr. Romanzo Adams and Professor Robert Lewers.
RESOLVED, that the Board appoint a Committee of two from
each County of the State to cooperate with the Board and
faculty in celebrating this 30th anniversity of the Univer-
sity.
