The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Regents was held at
their Office in the Dormitory building on Wednesday October 31,
1894 at 9 A.M. Present: C. E. Mack, J. W. Haines and H. L.
Fish, also Dr. Stubbs, President of the University.
Minutes of meetings held October 2nd and 4th were read and
approved.
President Stubbs reported at considerable length on University
matters including visits to Elko and Carson in the interest of
the Institution.
The President of the University was authorized to make such
changes in the management and carrying on of the Boarding
Department as he thought for the best interests of the students.

The following resolution was offered and adopted:
WHEREAS the Board of Prison Commissioners and Warden Bell
have presented to the State University a handsome stone
fountain which now adorns the University Campus.
THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Regents of the University
herewith extend to the Board of Commissioners and Warden
Bell the cordial acknowledgement of the Board of Regents,
the President, the faculty and the students of the
the University and the Secretary was instructed to transmit
a copy of same to the Commission Secretary and Warden.
No further business appearing, the Board adjourned.
