The Board of Regents met pursuant to the call of the President.

Present:  H. G. Blasdel, C. N. Noteware and A. N. Fisher.



The minutes of previous meetings were read, approved and ordered

signed by President and Secretary.



A communication from Messr. Britton & Gray under date Septem-

ber 2 was read, ordered on file (see file B & G - Six), and the

Secretary instructed to procure a copy of the instructions of

Commissioner Wilson to Register and Receiver of U. S. Land Office

in this city, for use of this Board.



A communication of the State Register under date October 12, 1868

was read, ordered on file (see file Jj) and question of selection

of land applied for was laid on the table for the present.



Pending considerations of further items of said communication,

the Board, desiring a conference with the Register of the local

U. S. Law Office, adjourned to 10 A.M., October 14.
