MEETING FOR OPENING OF BIDS
September 15, 1951
President Love and Comptroller Hayden met in the President's
office at 4 P.M. for the purpose of opening bids on wet garbage
disposal for the University Dining Hall, commencing September 15,
1951 and to continue through the school year. Notice of the bid
opening had appeared in local papers.
Bids were opened as follows:
Oscar R. Scolari, 327 Colorado River Road, Reno $426.00
Louis & Emelio Istrice, Rt. 2, Box 205, Reno 563.97
John T. Armstrong, Box 169, Sparks 350.00
Louis and Emelio Istrice, having submitted the highest bid, were
given the contract.
