The Regents met in the Office of the President at 5:30 P.M.
on August 26, 1921.  All the members, with the exception of
Mrs. Hood, who was out of town, were present.

President Clark, on the recommendation of Dean Hall, recommended
that Miss Tonette Benson be elected Instructor in Music in our
School of Education for the year beginning September 1, 1921, at
a salary of $2250.  Judge Curler made the motion.  Vote:

    Judge Talbot         Aye
    Mr. North            Aye
    Judge Curler         Aye

On the recommendation of Librarian Layman, President Clark recom-
mended the election of Miss Elsie Evelyn Johnson to be Assistant
Librarian of the University of Nevada at a salary of $1200, sal-
ary and service to begin with September 15th, 1921.  Mr. North
made the motion.  Vote:

    Mr. Pratt            Aye
    Judge Talbot         Aye
    Mr. North            Aye
    Judge Curler         Aye

On the recommendation of Director Creel, President Clark recom-
mended that the salary of Mr. Merle D. Collins of the Extension
Division be at the rate of $3300 beginning August 1, 1921.  Mr.
North made the motion.  Vote:

    Mr. Pratt            Aye
    Judge Talbot         Aye
    Mr. North            Aye
    Judge Curler         Aye

No further business appearing, the Board ajourned until the
regular business meeting at the end of the month.
