                       August 21, 1917

A special executive meeting of the Board of Regents was held in
the Office of the President of the University on August 21 at 10
o'clock.

Present:  Regents O'Brien, Baker, Sullivan and Chairman Abel.
Absent:  Regent Curler and Acting President Lewers.

The Board went into executive session.

The Board returned to open session at 12 o'clock and recessed
until 2 o'clock P.M.

The Board of Regents resumed its special executive session at
2:30 o'clock on August 21, with the same members as above pres-
ent.

The Board returned to open session at 4 o'clock and adjourned.
