The Board of Regents met at their Office at 9:30 A.M. this day, a
full Board being present, also President Jones and the newly
elected President of the University, Dr. J. E. Stubbs, who took
the official oath as President to take office July 1, 1894.
Minutes of the meetings of May 31 and June 7 read and approved.
Balance sheets showing the several funds on hand and annual
report of receipts and expenditures of the Agricultural and
Mechanical College Fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1894
read.
Mr. Mack, moved seconded by Mr. Haines, that the matter of
employing a Music Instructor for students be referred to the
incoming President.
Claims for the month of June were allowed:
Contingent University Fund 722.71
Mining Laboratory Fund 266.66
Ag & Mechanical College Fund 1,620.00
Total 2,609.37
It was ordered that all the Professors and Instructors be
requested to be present with the President of the University at
his Office on or before Tuesday, August 28th.
Professor Jackson filed his Mining Laboratory report for April
and May as follows:

No further business appearing, the Board adjourned.
