Board of Regents met at their Office in the Dormitory building of
the State University. Present: C. E. Mack, H. L. Fish and J. W.
Haines.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved, also balance
sheets showing the several funds on hand.
Claims were allowed as follows:
Contingent University Fund 12.20
Agricultural College Fund 157.16
Agricultural College Fund 1,600.00
Total $1,769.16
On motion of Mr. Mack, the Secretary was instructed to record a
vote of thanks to Roger Pendergast of Virginia City for his
generous donation of a root plower to the Mining Department of
the University and transmit a copy of same to him. Also to
R. P. Keating of same place for his assistance in processing
same.
A communication from Dr. J. E. Stubbs accepting his appointment
to the Presidency of the State University was received and
ordered filed.
On a recommendation of the faculty, Diplomas were issued to the
following graduates:
