The Board of Regents met at their Office at 3 o'clock P.M.,
Tuesday, June 2, 1902, a full Board being present.
Minutes of January 9 and March 8, 1902 read and approved.
On motion of Regent Deal, seconded by another Regent, the resig-
nation of Mrs. Mary W. Emery was accepted to take effect August
31, 1902, and that Mrs. Emery be elected Professor Emeritus
without salary, and the Secretary of the Board was instructed
to inform Mrs. Emery and to write her a letter in recognition
of her faithful services to the University and the cause of
education.
President Stubbs submitted the recommendations of the faculty
the names of candidates for graduation from the several Schools
as follows.
Upon motion of Regent Deal, seconded by Regent Booher, it was
ordered that the degrees be conferred upon the following candi-
dates:
School of Liberal Arts for the Degree of B. A.
School of Mines for the Degree of B. S.
School of Mechanical Engineering Degree of B. S.
School of Civil Engineering Degree of B. S.
School of General Science Degree of B. S.
State Normal School 4-Year Course
Normal Dipolmas High School Grade
State Normal School 3-Year Course
Normal Diplomas Grammar Grade
It was moved and seconded that a Normal Diploma High School
Grade be conferred on Miss Theodora Stubbs.
The Board adjourned to Wednesday, June 4, 1902.
