The Board of Regents met at their Office at 2 o'clock P.M.,
Wednesday, May 20, 1903. Present Regents Booher and Evans.
Absent Kirman.
Resignation of Professor L. F. J. Wrinkle, Professor of Mining
and Civil Engineering, to take effect August 31, 1903 received
and accepted.
On the recommendation of President Stubbs, Bernard Alfred
Etchevery was elected Associate Professor of Physics and Civil
Engineering in the University at an annual salary of Sixteen
Hundred dollars, commencing with September 1, 1903, payable
monthly.
The Board ordered 4 dozen dry powder fire extinguishers from
the Dry Powder Extinguisher Company, Denver, Colorado, at $30.00
per dozen.
The bid of S. H. Wheeler, Manager of Wells Estate Co., to furnish
250 cords 4-foot pine wood at $5.25 per cord and 60 cords 4-foot
slab wood at $3.50 per cord, piled and measured on the University
grounds in June, July and August, 1903, was rejected as the price
was considered too high.
No further business, the Board adjourned to Monday, June 1, 1903.
