At the adjourned session of the Board of Regents of the Univer-
sity of Nevada, called to order by Judge Cheney at 4 P.M., May
12th, 1920, all the members of the Board and President Clark
were present.

President Clark presented his recommendation for salary increases
for the staff of the University.  He recommended that the follow-
ing increases in the salaries of respective members of the staff
listed should go into effect from July 1, 1920:

The motion was made that the above recommendations for salary
increases be approved and authorized to go into effect from
July 1, 1920.  An aye and no vote on this motion was taken as
follows:

    Judge Curler         Aye
    Mr. North            Aye

There was further discussion of the business proposition recently
made to President Clark by a corporation in New York City.  It
was finally agreed that the Board of Regents should hold a spe-
cial meeting finally to decide with reference to this matter,
this special meeting to convene at 10 o'clock Saturday morning,
May 29, 1920.
