02-06-1915 Volume OD - Page 563 Reno, Nevada February 6, 1915 Meeting resumed February 6th at 10:00 o'clock in the President's Office. There were present Regents Henderson, Codd, Pratt and O'Brien. President Hendrick and Governor Boyle. Absent: Regent Sullivan. Discussion took place on the action of the Cattle Growers' Association, and the motion was made, which was unanimously approved, that the recommendations of the Cattle Growers' Association be accepted by the Board of Regents. Governor Boyle expressed his agreement with the resolutions and promised his aid. An informal discussion took place upon the operation of the State Quarantine Board, the thought being that it was necessary to provide a fund someway to anticipate any outbreak of the foot and mouth disease in this State and its proper control. Meeting adjourned at this point to attend the meetings of the Welfare Conference which were in session, adjournment being taken until Tuesday morning, February 9th at 9:00 A.M. The Regents participated in a lunch at noon at the Riverside Hotel given by President Hendrick in honor of the distinguished visitors.
