02-03-1917 Volume OE - Page 15 Reno, Nevada February 3, 1917 The meeting of the Board was called to order at 9:50 A.M. Febru- ary 3, 1917. Present: Regents Baker, O'Brien, Curler, Sullivan, Abel and Vice President Lewers. The Board disucssed the financial affairs of the University. It was moved by Regent Sullivan that a temporary arrangement be made with Mr. V. M. Henderson to assist Professor Jones in the work in Mineralogy and that Mr. Henderson be allowed $25 per month for his services. On record vote the motion was carried, all voting aye. The matter of allowing $100 for the expenses of the debating team for a trip to Utah was held over. The meeting was adjourned until Monday, February 5, 1917. The members of the Board went to Carson on February 5th to confer with the Ways and Means Committee.
