In conformity with the call of the Chairman Pro Tem, the Board

met in the Office of the State Land Register.  Present:  Regents

Getchell, Shaw and the Clerk, M. D. Noteware.  Regent Getchell

in the Chair.



Upon motion of Regent Shaw it was,



    RESOLVED, that Regent Getchell be appointed a committee of

    one with power to cause the necessary repair of the roof of

    the University building to be made without delay.



The following claims were approved by the Board, and the Clerk

was instructed to present them to the Board of Examiners, viz:



     C. H. Sproule, $8 services on typewriter

     S. G. Kendall, $50 as Janitor for January 1887

     J. F. Mc Cammon, $200 salary as principal for January 1887

     A. J. Willis, $250 salary as assayer for January, 1887



Nothing further coming before the Board, adjourned subject to

call of Chairman Pro Tem, Regent Getchell.
