A meeting of the Board of Regents was held pursuant to the call

~of the President.  Present:  H. G. Blasdel, C. N. Noteware and"

A. N. Fisher.



~A communication from the Hon. C. N. Noteware, Selecting Agent of

~the Board, under date December 15, 1868, was read, ordered on"

~file (see file Uu), and selection of tracts described amounting"

in total to 5960 acres was directed to be made under the Internal

Improvement Grant.



A communication from the State Register under date January 4 was

~read, ordered on file (see file Vv), and selection of land ap-"

~plied for by A. W. Doolittle, 160 acres, was directed to be made

under the Internal Improvement Grant.



~A communication from the Hon. John Day, State Register, was read

~ordered on file (see file Ww), and selection of land applied for

~by John F. Stone, 320 acres, was directed to be made under the"

Internal Improvement Grant.



~A communication from the same under date January 21 was read,"

~ordered on file (see file Xx), and selection of lands applied"

~for by R. Cochrane, 160 acres; by Robert Presho, 320 acres; by"

~Charles Bogar, 320 acres; by A. Andersen, 320 acres, taken for"

~640 acres; 1440 acres in total, was directed to be made under"

the Public Building Grant.



~A communication from the same under same date was read, ordered"

~on file (see file Yy), and selection of land applied for by D."

~P. Crook, 80 acres, was directed to be made under the Public"

Building Grant.



~Lands applied for by W. R. Mitchell, 160 acres; by J. G. Herman,

~40 acres, taken for 80 acres; by R. Freeman, 120 acres, were"

~ordered selected under the Internal Improvement Grant, 360 acres

in total.
