01-14-1887 Volume OB - Page 33 State of Nevada Reno, January 14, 1887 In conformity with the call of Mr. Chairman, the Board of Regents of Nevada met at Reno this day, January 14, 1887. Present: Regents J. H. Rand, H. G. Shaw and L. W. Getchell. Regent J. H. Rand, President of the Board, opened the Chair and Regent Shaw acted as Secretary Pro Tem. Regent Shaw, who at the last meeting, was appointed a committee of one with authority to purchase such supplies as may be neces- sary to equip the building, reported having done so, furnishing the items. The question of preparing a report of the operations of the Board for the two fiscal years ending December 31st, 1886 coming up, Regent Shaw was authorized to draft said report and submit the same to the Board Monday. On motion of Regent Getchell, the Board adjourned to meet at Carson City, Monday January 17th, 1887. J. H. Rand President H. G. Shaw Secretary Pro Tem
