Regents and Chancellor to Hold Press Conference
LAS VEGAS The Nevada Board of Regents and Chancellor James E. Rogers
will hold a press conference at 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 21 regarding the selection
of an interim president for the University of Nevada, Reno.

NOTE:
Although a recommendation for the interim presidency will be made on Nov. 21,
the candidate must be formally approved by the full Board of Regents at their
Dec. 1-2 meeting which will be held at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
The Nevada System of Higher Education, comprised of two doctoral-granting
universities, a state college, four comprehensive community colleges and one
environmental research institute, serves the educational and job training needs
of the nations fastest growing state. As Nevadas only system of
higher education, the NSHE provides educational opportunities to more than
100,000 students and is governed by the Nevada Board of Regents.
