Salaber, who previously served as the Senior Accountant in Banking and Investments, will begin his new responsibilities July 1.

He will be replacing Tim J. Ortez who is leaving UCCSN to accept a position with a Connecticut-based investment firm.

Salaber has over 18 years experience in higher education financial administration, including four years as System Budget Officer, two years as Controller and eight years as Director of Budget and Planning for Truckee Meadows Community College.

Mr. Salaber is a Certified Public Accountant. He has a bachelor of arts in business administration with majors in public administration and accounting. He is currently enrolled in a master's of economics program at UNR.
