Regents to Hold State-Wide Millennium Scholarship Forums


LAS VEGAS -- Nevada's Board of Regents will be conducting 10 public forums across the state to hear public input on the Millennium Scholarship program.
These forums, located at UCCSN campuses, will allow parents, students and members of the public the opportunity to hear the proposed requirements and conditions of the Millennium Scholarship as well as provide feedback to the Board of Regents.
The forums are scheduled as follows:

    • Oct. 4 Churchill High School, Fallon 7 p.m.

    • Oct. 5 Jot Travis Student Union, UNR 6:30 p.m.

    • Oct. 6 Health Sciences Bldg., Rm 106 7 p.m.
      Great Basin College, Elko

    • Oct. 7 Douglas High School, Minden 7 p.m.

    • Oct. 9 Video Conference from Elko to 9:30 a.m.
      Battle Mountain, Ely, Eureka, Lund, Wells
      and Winnemucca

    • Oct. 12 Nicholas Horn Performing Arts Center 6:30 - 8 p.m.
      Recital Hall, Rm 1430
      Cheyenne Campus, CCSN

    • Oct. 13 D Bldg., Rm 152, Charleston Campus, CCSN 6:30 - 8 p.m.

    • Oct. 14 C Bldg., Rm 133, Henderson Campus, CCSN 6:30 - 8 p.m.

    • Oct. 14 Moyer Student Union, UNLV 6-8 p.m.

    • Oct. 18 Carson High School, Carson City 7 p.m.
