NEVADANS, HONORARY DOCTORATES,
HONORARY ASSOCIATE DEGREES
March 19, 1997 -- Reno, Nevada
The University and Community College System Board of Regents named the
recipients of the 1997 Distinguished Nevadan, Honorary Doctorate and Honorary
Associate degrees at its regular meeting of March 13-14, 1997 in Carson
City.
These awards represent the highest award given by the UCCSN Board of
Regents for significant achievements to the cultural, economic, scientific
and social advancement of Nevada and will be presented formally during
Commencement excercises in May.
