Dear Friend of Education,

As Chancellor of the Nevada System of Higher Education, I ampleased to announce the presentation ofour annual State of the System Address for Education in Nevada. The event is being held in conjuction with our partners in K-12, and will be presented at three locations throughout the state:

RENO
Speakers: NSHE Chancellor James E. Rogers and Washoe County School District Superintendent Paul Dugan
Date: Tuesday, October 9, 2007
Time: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Location: Atlantis Hotel & Casino, Reno(Ballroom) (this event is held in conjuction with the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada - EDAWN). Cost: $30 at the door, includes breakfast ($20 for members)

ELKO
Speakers: NSHE Chancellor James E. Rogers and Elko County School District Superintendent Antoinette Cavanaugh

Location: Great Basin College Theatre, Chilton Circle
No Cost: Lunch provided by Great Basin College

Location: The Orleans, 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue (in conjuction with the Nevada Development Authority -- 7:00 a.m. breakfast and networking followed by speakers)
