Regent Jack Lund Schofield was elected to the Board of Regents in 2002 and was then retained in the 2008 election as the representative for Clark County, District 5. He served one successful term as vice chair of the Board of Regents and currently serves as chair of the ad hoc Appeals Committee for Millennium Scholarship and vice chair of the Academic and Student Affairs Committee and the Workforce, Research and Economic Development Committee. He is also a member of the Audit Committee, Cultural Diversity Committee, ad hoc Marketing, Publicity and Public Safety Committee and the ad hoc TMCC Periodic Presidential Evaluation Committee.

A longtime educator, Regent Schofield is currently a real estate entrepreneur, CEO of Exclusive Homes & Products, and president of JS Development. Previously, he has been a Nevada state senator, assembly member and school administrator.

Regent Schofield and his wife Alene have been married for 72 years and are the proud parents of six children, 34 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren.
