The Recovery Act signed into law by President Obama on February 17th, 2009 includes measures to modernize our nation’s infrastructure, enhance energy independence, expand educational opportunities, preserve and improve affordable health care, provide tax relief and protect those in greatest need.

State Fiscal Stabilization Funds
The Nevada System of Higher Education received ARRA State Fiscal Stabilization Funds in the amount of $92,389,311 for each of the Fiscal Years 2009-10 and 2010-11. These funds were used to mitigate tuition and fee increases and will be expended to support the instructional operating budgets of the following institutions:
