Daniel J. Klaich
rejoined NSHE in November 2004 as chief counsel, having previously
served the NSHE as regent from 1987 to 1997. He was promoted to
vice chancellor for legal affairs and administration in February
2005 and has worked as executive vice chancellor since
September 2005.
Prior to that
time, he served as executive vice president and general counsel
for Clean Fuels Technology, Inc. from 1994 until 2004. In this role
Mr. Klaich worked in a policy making capacity, advising the ceo
and board of directors as well as overseeing and managing litigation.
He has practiced law for close to 30 years including 12 years at
Walther, Key, Maupin, Oats, Cox, Lee & Klaich.
