The Board met at the Office of the Governor pursuant to

adjournment.  Present:  H. G. Blasdel, President, C. N.

Noteware and A. N. Fisher, Secretary.



In accordance with the provisions of an Act entitled, "An Act

to Provide for Establishing and Maintaining a Mining School,

and Create the Office of State Mineralogist", approved March 9,

1866, the Board on motion of C. N. Noteware, proceeded to ballot

for a State Mineralogist in place of R. H. Stretch, whose term

of Office expired January 7, 1867.



A. F. White was placed in nomination and on ballot received

two votes and was declared appointed.



The matter of blank forms for Land Warrants was taken up and

considered pending which the Board adjourned to meet at the call

of the President.
