Charges: The Board of Regents’ Board Development Committee will review matters related to providing assistance to Regents in carrying out their duties.

During the course of its deliberations, the Committee will consider the following:

• Work with the Board Chair and Chancellor in planning and implementing an orientation program for new Regents;
• Work with the Board Chair and Vice Chair in planning an implementing a yearly Board workshop/retreat focusing on Board performance, evaluation, planning and development; and
• Support and promote opportunities and activities for Board education and development, including national and regional meetings, publications and in-house educational programs and activities.
