Charges: The mission of the ad hoc Technology Commitee is to empower the Nevada System of Higher Education through the selection and implementation of a system-wide integrated information system which provides access to distributed, secure, timely and accurate data across departments, institutions and the System. The Technology Task Force shall:

• Select a fully integrated system that works seamlessly between functions, locations, institutions and the system.
• Ensure the implementation of the of the integrated information system. (IIS)
• Assure the maintenance of the current level and quality of service and data access with minimal disruption.
• Ensure convenient and secure access for all users.
• Select a system which is flexible, scaleable, upgradeable and stable, and is cost effective to purchase, implement and maintain.
• Identify funding mechanisms for the new system.
• Conform system and campus procedures to best business practices embedded in the software to the extent possible.
• Function as the Executive Steering Committee and define the overall project schedule including general milestones.
• Foster a collaborative environment to facilitate communication among constituents.
• Foster collaboration and education through effective communication at each step of the project.
