Regent Bret O’Neil Whipple was elected to the Board of Regents in 2002 and is the representative for Clark County, District 2. He was recently elected to his second term as chair for the Board of Regents and serves on the ad hoc Technology Committee.

A practicing attorney in the state of Nevada, with license to practice in Arizona, Regent Whipple’s primary area of concentration is criminal defense. His experience in the field of law is wide-ranging. It includes numerous jury trials, preliminary hearings and an “oral argument” before the Nevada Supreme Court.

Regent Whipple and his wife Paige are the proud parents of daughter Hope and son Shea. In addition to being a successful lawyer, husband and father, Regent Whipple is also a certified public accountant licensed to practice in Arizona, New York, Pennsylvania and Nevada.
