The Board of Regents met at the call of the President at the

time and place above mentioned.  Present:  Alfred Helm, C. C.

Stevenson and W. C. Dovey.



On motion of C. C. Stevenson, Alfred Helm was instructed to

procure and submit to the Board at as early a date as possible

plans for a fence to enclose the grounds of the Preparatory

Department of the University of Nevada at Elko, Nevada and also

plans for a Dormitory for said Department.



The following described bills were allowed:



    D. R. Sessions      Salary for 3 mons. of 1875        $600

    George Farmer       Janitor at P. Department            20

    M. Monahan          Janitor at P. Department            20

    Sears & Wright      Advertising                         20

    W. C. Dovey         Traveling Expenses                  70

    C. C. Stevenson     Traveling Expenses                  70

    J. S. Hadley        Cleaning out well at P. D.          18.50

    T. W. Stone         Books & Stationery                  32.01

    S. Wilsey           Coal & Lumber                       30.62
