The Board of Regents met at the call of the President at the

~Office of the Governor.  Present:  H. G. Blasdel, C. N. Noteware

and A. N. Fisher.



~A communication from the Register under date January 26 was read

~ordered on file (see file /A/), and selection of tracts applied"

~for by J. W. Haynie, 320 acres, taken as 640 acres; and by F. A.

~Tritte, 160 acres, were ordered made under the Public Building"

Grant.  Selection of tracts applied for by J. J. Fox and Gideon

Kunkle was directed to be deferred until maps of the region

described are filed in the local U. S. Land Office.



~A communication from the Register under date February 3 was read

~ordered on file (see file /B/), and selection of tracts applied"

~for by M. H. Barnes, 320 acres, taken as 640 acres, and by C. F.

~Therlacker, 320 acres, taken as 640 acres, was ordered made"

under the Internal Improvement Grant.



~A communication from the same under date February 11 was read,"

~ordered on file (see file /C/), and selection of tracts applied"

for was directed to be deferred until maps are filed.
