A meeting of the Board of Regents was held pursuant to the call

of the President.  Present:  H. G. Blasdel, C. N. Noteware and

A. N. Fisher.



A communication from the State Register under date December 16

was read, ordered on file (see file Rr), and selection of lands

applied for by G. B. Glasgow, 200 acres; by C. Hinkey, 160 acres;

by Peter Lankheart, 80 acres; was directed to be made under the

Public Building Grant.



A communication from the same under date December 17 was read,

ordered on file (see file Ss), and lands applied for by William

Stock, 80 acres; by J. F. Abel, 159 72/100 acres, accepted as

160 acres; by A. J. Mc Alister, 40 acres; were ordered selected

under the Public Building Grant.



Lands applied for by N. A. Trousdale, 40 acres; by J. F. Abel,

160 acres; by M. W. Haviland, 160 acres; by B. F. Riley, 40

acres; by W. Stock, 80 acres; by R. Brenchley, 160 acres; by

Edwin Odell, 200 acres; by J. G. Whitaker, 160 acres; by John

Byrnes, 80 acres; by J. G. Johnson, 240 acres; by M. W. Haviland,

160 acres; by Thomas Mullinaux, 160 acres; and by Porter Hoyt,

160 acres; were ordered selected under the Internal Improvement

Grant for 1800 acres in total.
