A meeting of the Board of Regents was held pursuant to the call

of the President.  Present:  H. G. Blasdel, C. N. Noteware and

A. N. Fisher.



A communication from the State Register under date December 1 was

read, ordered on file (see file Pp), and selection of lands ap-

plied for by John Marley, 40 acres; by R. H. Scott, 200 acres; by

George H. Carrel, 160 acres; by Sylvester B. Worden, 240 acres;

was directed to be made under the Internal Improvement Grant.



The N.E. 1/4 of S.W. 1/4 of Section 6, J14 N. R.40 E., and the

S.W. 1/4 of N.E. 1/4 of Section 1, J41 N. R.39 E., 80 acres,

applied for by S. B. Worden, was ordered selected under the

Public Building Grant.
