The Board of Regents met pursuant to the call of the President.

Present:  H. G. Blasdel and C. N. Fisher.



A communication from the State Register under date July 14 was

read, ordered on file (see file "Ee"), and selection of N.E. 1/4

of Section 4, J15 N. R.19 E., 160 acres, applied for by J. M.

Garretson, was ordered for 320 acres; and of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4,

of Section 34, J14 N. R.1 E., 153 96/100 acres, applied for by

Judge H. O. Beatty, for 160 acres, under the Internal Improve-

ment Grant.
